The Chicago Section IFT (CSIFT) is the first, the largest, and most active Section of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). CSIFT was officially formed on January 15, 1941, two years after the Institute of Food Technologists was founded.
The Chicago Section IFT Leadership team is comprised of volunteers from the Chicago area who serve as Officers and the Executive
Committee as well as lead our many committees.
The work of the Section is dependent upon our committees and each member’s contribution and participation on a committee contributes to the success of our Section.
