– Foundation of knowledge and\/or experience in Microbiology.
\n– Ensures quality of results for our clients through review of laboratory data and documentation looking for accuracy and completeness.
\n– Reviews simple and complex routine and non-routine data from all four laboratories.
\n– Determines if data is compliant, defendable and scientifically sound based on current regulations, methodologies and scientific principles.
\n– Ensures compliance with cGMPs, GLP, ISO\/IEC 17025 and safety guidelines at all times.
\n– Provides feedback to laboratory analysts and managers when non-conformances, omissions and documentation errors are found.
\n– Assists in administering proficiency testing program, training programs, tracking of equipment maintenance\/calibration, and other Quality related items.
\n– Provides regular feedback to Quality and Lab Management.
\n– Participates in internal, external client and regulatory audits as needed.
\n– Identifies compliance gaps and recommend improvements.
\n– Streamlines and simplifies existing quality system procedures.
\n– Other duties and functions as they are assigned.<\/p>\n
EDUCATION
\n– Bachelor\u2019s degree with experience in Food Science or Chemistry preferred.
\n– Relevant work experience may be substituted for education<\/p>\n
WORK EXPERIENCE
\n– 1 year of industry \/ quality team experience<\/p>\n
