GPN manufactures and markets the full range of performance nutrition and lifestyle products including protein, pre-workout, muscle gainers, ready-to-eat snacks and general health. Products are sold through a variety of channels including specialty retail, the internet, gyms and FDM in a variety of formats including powders, bars and Ready-to-Drink beverages. GPN has a global and expanding footprint with a current in-market presence in 24 countries.<\/p>\n<p>The Food Technologist II\u00a0will be expected to work both independently and in conjunction with their Manager and other Food Technologists on the development of powder, bar, ready-to-drink (etc\u2026) projects from concept through execution. Successful candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in the development and execution of bringing new concepts to market. The ability to juggle multiple projects and apply critical thinking, organizational, communication and analytical skills is essential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Product Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formulate and Develop foods and supplements including: powdered and RTD beverages, capsule, and tablets.\n<ul>\n<li>Includes: formulation, validating ingredient and ingredient vendors, preliminary costing and preparing nutritional\/supplement panels.<\/li>\n<li>Create and flavor prototypes.<\/li>\n<li>Organizes sensory panels.<\/li>\n<li>Refines formulations until desired characteristics are achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees pilot plant experiments and scale-up manufacturing runs<\/li>\n<li>Initiates raw material and factory trial analytical testing.<\/li>\n<li>Enters raw material specifications and formulas into product development software.<\/li>\n<li>Reformulates to bring formulations into compliance with changing government regulations or customer requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors product stability.
