In essence, the \u201cface\u201d of Kalsec with these accounts.<br \/>\nDrive achievement of budgeted sales volume, revenue, and gross margin growth for prospects and assigned customers by leading collaborative sales efforts with internal and external cross\u2011functional partners.<br \/>\nMaintain current customers and develop new customers, always striving to increase the quality of communication between Kalsec and assigned customers.<br \/>\nDevelop account strategies and navigate negotiations with direction and support from management and mentoring from more experienced colleagues.<br \/>\nDeliver interactive PowerPoint presentations developed by Marketing, including product demonstrations, with customization supported by management as needed.<br \/>\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops as assigned, keeping a technical journal, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.<br \/>\nContinually gather and assess information on pricing, product quality, applications and competitive activity, and to recommend policy changes.<br \/>\nDevelop annual forecasts for assigned accounts.<br \/>\nMaintain clear records of activity with each account including projects and their progression, correspondence, contacts and opportunities in Salesforce.com.<br \/>\nMonitor, expedite, develop and assist with support functions for customers i.e. customer service, regulatory, technical and applications information.<br \/>\nRepresent Kalsec at trade shows, meetings and conventions.<br \/>\nWork collaboratively with Marketing and Product Management to develop strategies for potential new or modified products.<br \/>\nFulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position in a fashion that is consistent with KALSEC VALUES.<br \/>\nMaintain full compliance with company Quality Assurance (Q.A.) policies, objectives, and procedures in all aspects of the role.<br \/>\nQualifications:<\/p>\n<p>Required<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Marketing, Food or Nutritional Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience within the food ingredients industry.<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.<br \/>\nIntermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.<br \/>\nWorking Conditions:<\/p>\n<p>Regular use of the Microsoft Office Suite.<br \/>\nUse of Salesforce (SFDC) and LinkedIn.<br \/>\nLess than 50% travel required, primarily in support of assigned accounts.<br \/>\nMidwest territory.<\/p>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer\/Protected Veterans\/Individuals with Disabilities<br \/>\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
